propane mower

Gasoline is one of the dirtiest and most dangerous-behind diesel-for its emissions, especially carbon monoxide and a mixture of oxides and nitrogen. The result is that many cities have banned the use of commercial mowers before 1 p.m. on “ozone action” days.

A recent California Air Resources Board report shows lawnmowers statewide emit 8.28 tons of VOCs per day. To top it off, lawn and garden equipment users inadvertently add to the problem by spilling 17 million gallons of fuel each year while refilling their outdoor power equipment. That's more petroleum than spilled by the Exxon Valdez in the Gulf of Alaska.

Propane is Environmentally Friendly

Up to 60% reduction in smog forming emissions compared to gasoline and diesel.

Up to 80% reduction in toxic emissions compared to gasoline and diesel.

Profitable The cost of propane fuel averages about 30-40% less per gallon than gasoline and diesel.

Working Today For Cleaner Air Tomorrow
Propane injection decreases total fuel costs, reduces harmful emissions, improves performance, reduces maintenance costs, while increasing the life of the engine.
Information Release – 12/01/2008
  • Propane injection decreases total fuel costs, reduces harmful emissions, improves performance, reduces maintenance costs, while increasing the life of the engine.
  • By injecting a precisely controlled amount of propane vapor into the pre-turbo air supply, combustion efficiency of the diesel fuel is significantly increased providing more MPG, cleaner exhaust, and sustainable power under load.
  • Propane costs are currently 30% to 50% less per gallon than diesel fuel and is used at a ratio of approximately 30% (propane) to 70% (diesel). Total fuel cost savings range from 7 to 16% depending on fleet vehicles.
  • Improves fuel mileage and lowers emissions
  • Propane is an EPA Approved Alternative Fuel

DUAL FUEL PROPANE SYSTEM

  • This system runs entirely on propane or gasoline at the touch of a button. Forty percent (40%) fuel cost savings can be realized when running on propane compared to gasoline.
  • Engine life is improved when running on clean burning propane as well as oil and filter changes are needed less frequently.
  • When used with sequential fuel injection, engine performance, horsepower, and torque are indistinguishable between fuels.
We offer the flexibility of being able to run on gasoline if needed.
